Okay, just because you insult the holy spirit doesnt mean that you arent going to make it into heaven ... I think there is a much deeper meaning ...
Lets say you get angry at your mother and in the spur of the moment you call her a ***** and you feel sorry ... your mother isnt going to say
"you called me a ***** you are not my child"
well neither would your heavenly father
AND EVERYONE SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO STOP TALKING LIKE THE FATHER SON AND THE HOLY GHOST ARE THREE SEPARATE PEOPLE >>.The father is god in the spiritual form, the son is god in physical form (jesus), and the holy spirit is god telling you what to do ...
its all the same person!!
god also says
"Anyman who opens the door when I knock I will sup with"
Very clear translation if you invite him into your heart he is with you, you become part of him, he becomes part of you ... unless you do not mean it when you ask him to come into your heart then you are not going to HELL

i'll bite. the holy spirit is God's power. to deny it is to deny His existence. that really makes Him mad.
Anyone can make mistakes and return to Him again- especially if they had an incorrect understanding in the past. But it's the people that know and understand everything about Him and the bible and turn away, have their 'conscience seared with a hot iron'- as the bible put it, or deny His power/ existence that will have a very hard time.
reparations exist in th eform of someone changing their behavior permanently from the non, asking forgiveness, then doing the sin again is pointless.
He does know your heart, yes, before you even existed, He knew everything that would happen. that is All Knowing.
The Lake of Fire/ Hell as many understand it, is not eternal, that is how some Churches try to get more money from their patrons.
what do you mean in the last line ? let me know.

in accordance to the Christian dogma (John 3:18), considering not believing in Christ is the awesome unforgivable sin, because the Holy Spirit is component to the trinity and hence have equivalent authority with God, rejecting that's a one way cost ticket to Hell. Oh and that i'm an atheist. don't be shocked that some people comprehend extra about your faith than different Christians.

If I had started the rules of religion I would have used the same tactic. those days of the illiterate uneducated and barbaric were justification enough to threaten just as they still do in voodoo and most other forms of primitive superstitious persuasion. In fact it wasn't untill just within the latter part of the last century that the FBI through satistical analysis realized the threat of encarceration was not the deterrant they once had thought. And that denser populations of prisoners coincided with higher crime rates . this is a loose parallel perhaps to some but I feel it is valid.

1. If there were to be any sin, or blasphemy, it would have to be man's interpretation, & rewrite, of the bible to suit political, and selfish agendas.
2. Any human being who arrrogates authority to themselves, as having a direct pipeline to the Heavens, knowing exactly what a Higher Being intended, is a practicing con artist that draws a salary at the blind believer's expense.
3. If there is a Higher force, I'm sure it can speak quite directly for itself, without an interpreter.
Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

Because ultimately, my friend, that blasphemy is a complete and utter rejection of the Holy Spirit......
There comes a time, when we are moved in a magnified way,not for ourselves, but for the sake of another..... and if anything within us denies it, then we have blasphemed God.....
the Holy Spirit, once it enters a man, is one of the greatest things the soul can experience....... it is very very difficult to deny it... Very difficult!!!
But, when a soul rebukes the spirit and denies its presence, he blasphemes something that should move him greatly......
That is evil...... and that will not be forgiven.....
it is like receiving a gift from a great teacher and saying, "I refuse to learn this simple concept I turn my back on this school!".......
They learn nothing.... and they walk in utter darkness....for the mind is filled with light that understands and it sees clearly the direction to go.... but to open the eyes to darkness is to be blind to a great master......

Ginger

If anyone turns their back on God...he will turn his back on you.
And should there come a day, when that person comes back to
God and begs for his Mercy, and Guidance and Love, etc, and
mostly...for God's Forgiveness. Then God will do that. If a
person blasephemy's the Holy Ghost, they are also doing that to
Our Creator, and his SON JESUS, and all that is HOLY. God will
deal with that person in his own way.....believe that.

Sin against the holy spirit means not acknowledging the HS, or not allowing the HS into your soul. But if you eventually accept him then you are not guilty of this sin.

There is no "sin" that God will not pardon. Everyone must pay the consequences of their actions, but nothing goes without pardon.

When you embrace new religion, all your sin to god is erased. But you must ask forgiveness for the sin you do to that specific person.
