Go to WebMD.com and look up the effects of sleep deprivation. According to my husband (med student, with class and work he has a horrid sleep schedual as well and learned this in class) some of the effects it can have on your brain are irreversable and can do serious damage to many of your brains functions, including effects to your memory, perception and worse. So if I were you I would seriously start working on rearranging my schedual so that I could get a real nights sleep.

you need nine hours of sleep. take a nice warm bath before bed and get in comforable PJ's. If you cant sleep at night, sit up for about fifteen minutes thinking about something then you will get tired and then fall asleep.

Yeah....5 hours a day is the minimum....and max is 9 hrs(and in some cases 10 hrs).
You can do yoga,meditation and exercise.This should help.

Try diffusing lavender oil in your room before going to sleep. Put a few drops in your bath water as well and you should sleep like a baby.
