My longest relationship was 6 years. It was my husband, and we were together until he passed away recently. We had the most wonderful relationship that I could possibly imagine, because we weren't just boyfriend/girlfriend, and then husband/wife - we were best friends and we knew we could depend on each other. Not to say that we didn't have other friends as well, but we were closest to each other. It's so nice to have someone that you can say anything to without being afraid, or feeling embarrassed, and to know that someone is there for you no matter what. I honestly think that that's what makes a relationship so great sometimes. Being friends is definitely important in a relationship in my opinion!

Longest relationship was about 7yrs till she went overseas and died during a crashed... the 2nd longest was 3yrs... we broke up one day but till now, still being a very good n close friends together

I had a relationship ship for 2years, it was great and I still miss him! I will never forget the fun we had, we were dangerous so dangerous! My flame burned like hell! Still today I don’t get the flame burning like that again. We connected so mush that we couldn’t breathe when we touch and that’s for real! It had to end because of parents, 6 years later and I still miss him, combined with hate. Mmm… just the memory takes my breathe away… Why your question?

My first wife,18 years. Three children. The closest thing to perfect I had ever known at the time. Cancer killed her.
The person I'm with now. 8 years. And they've been just as wonderful.
