I know how you feel. I suggest you ring them and explain that you can't afford to pay. You're broke! You just can't do it!
Then they may offer a solution.
It really isn't up to them but they want to help if they can find a way to get your money.
Just say you can't afford it and leave it at that.

It's not really any of their business why you're choosing to cancel your health insurance, but just tell them the truth so they'll get off your case.
