I can never find the entrance when I go to 34th Street station. It is like it is hidden or something. There are all these signs, but I always end up having to walk above ground for an eternity before I find the actual Path entrance. I want to go to Grove street.

The 34th Street Subway Station is very close to the 33rd Street PATH Station. You can go between either without going above ground. The 34th Street Subway has the Subway lines "B", "D", "F", "V", "N", "Q", "R", and "W".The entry to PATH is very close to the entrance of Manhattan Mall. If you still cannot find PATH, go inside Manhattan Mall. There is an entrance to PATH on the lowest level near McDonald's.
If you want to go to Grove Street, take the Journal Square train (JSQ) on PATH.

Thats because there is no 34th Street Station for PATH.

It's the 33rd Street Station, which is actually between 30th and 32nd St. There are entrances on 32nd St and 33rd St. on 6th Ave. You can also take the elevator, escalator or stairs from the shopping center that has Daffy's in it to get right to the PATH.

If you are getting off the subway at the Herald Square 34th St stop (B,D,F,N,Q,R,V or W trains), you should have a walk of less than half a block either underground or above ground.

If you are getting off at Penn Station (A, C, E, 1, 2 or 3 trains), it's a 1 block crosstown walk to get to PATH, all above ground

Yes, it's not at 34th st, it's 33 & 32nd. You can also get there by going through the Manhattan Mall. Go down one level below the ground floor. The entrance is by the Mc Donalds.
