"Jews for Jesus" is a group that is designed for the soul purpose of converting Jews to Christianity through backdoor means and psychological manipulation. I do not feel they are a good group.

Yes, Jews for Jesus is just a group, a label if you will. Anyone that knows that Jesus Christ is the Messiah is a Christian. Only God reveals this fact . The love of God is in them. All Christians believe in the Old Testament as well as the New.

Jews for Jesus is a missionary outreach run by Christian Jews who seldom follow any of the tenants of Judaism.
If you are a Gentile Christian desiring to find the "Jewish Roots" of Christianity then J4J is not what you are looking for. Here are the groups you would want:
First Fruits of Zion:
http://www.ffoz.org
Hebraic Heritage:
http://www.hebroots.com/
Torah Resource:
http://www.TorahResource.com/
Your Arms to Israel:
http://yourarmstoisrael.com/
Yasha Net
http://www.yashanet.com/
There are many other sites of a similar nature, but these have some good articles to get you started and all of these are open to Gentiles. (Some Messianic Jewish groups only want Jews.)

Jews for Jesus like all the Messianic groups is under the mistaken idea that Christianity comes out of Judaism. That is fully unbiblical, Christianity is a new "mystery" started by Jesus Christ after the Jewish people rejected Christ as their Messiah. The two cannot be merged together. Jesus established "His Church" and it is the only God ordained Christian organization on earth today. The teaching of Jesus for His people is to come out of all evil wheteher it is moral evil, religious evil, social evil. Judaism is a false religious organization, not based on Scripture but on the Talmud. Things like the Tallit, and the Yamakuk are not Bible ideas but Talmidic. The Bilbe teaches a man should not cover his head, (I Cor 11) but the the Rabbis teach that you are not to walk four paces under God without your head covered. Paul Came out of Judaism (Gal) Peter came out of Judaism (Galatians 2:14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all, "If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?) That was the teaching of the early church. Now this messianic movement started in the last 35 years wants to divided the church and make a separate church for Jews. It is heresy.

Jews for Jesus are jews who have come to the conclusion that Jesus was the Messiah of Isreal as He claimed to be. Most Jews do not accept Jesus as their Messiah. They say they are still waiting for their Messiah. Jews for Jesus, as well as Christians, say that Messiah has already come. His Name was Jesus.

Pagan Rebirth hit the nail on the head.
it is not a form of Judaism in any way shape and form. Most of its members are not Jewish in any way and it dose not practice in any way Jesus would recognize.

This is a deceitful Christian missionary cult group that targets un-knowledgeable Jews for conversion to their version of Christianity.
