Matthew 25:38-40
"When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

A "real" Christian, to me, is some one who believes Jesus is thier savior and follows his Word, (the bible). I don't think a "real" Christian has to be perfect or an unreal person. We live in the world and sometime fall into things. That's what grace and forgiveness is for. I don't think i or anyone can point out a "fake" Christian. It's for a person to know for them self if they are fakin it or being real with it. It's the personal relationship with God that judges.

You know a real Christian by not seeing anything on them to is suppose to make the world think they are Christian. You know it not by their words, but by their acts.
They believe in obeying the law, even the inconvenient ones, such as speed limits when late for work.
They believe in paying taxes, even though there are many ways they could avoid them.
They believe in keeping their word and mean it.
They teach their youth that waiting until marriage is preferable to using protection, and for the most part, the youths actually believe it.
They teach their children the Bible as a whole, and not just Bible stories.
They don't demand public schools teach their children about creation.

A "Real Christian" is one who Believes and accepts that Jesus Christ was sent to earth to die on a cross for our sins and for our eternal salvation and bares the fruit of the spirit meaning...they live the life no matter whos there or not there.. God sees us no matter where we are... a "Fake Christian" is one who says they believe and love the lord but doesn't bare the fruit...is one way in church but none of their "close" friends know that they are Christians.

Fake Christians Profess but do not pass the test.
Real Christians practice what they preach and admit their sin and failures.
The answer is more complicated.

One (true) follows the Bible and Jesus teaching to the best of their ability. They have the Holy Spirit led them in life.
One (false) follows church and worries about other peoples opinion more than pleasing God. Not much mercy on non Christians or even other denominations.
Blessings.

I have two definitions of a Christian. Either it is someone who says they are..or it is someone who follows the Bible and everything in it...of the latter Fred Phelps is the closest thing I have seen to a True Christian(tm).

in case you do not have self belief the Bible you're not likely a real Christian, although, they are new Christians which have bags yet i imagine they are going to come round in the experience that they rather have self belief. i for my section believed that Jesus became God and the Bible became proper earlier I grew to develop right into a Christan. playstation Jesus respond to Tomas Blessed are they that see not and yet have self belief. i imagine that nullifies your element.
