I would love to call him in some cute way but I have no idea how could I?How his name could be shortened or changed to sound more informal?
Or if you have some ideas about some spanish origin cute words I would appreciate your advices.
Thanks

all of a sudden he's become your pet? And I suppose you parade him in front of all your friends. Give it a break and just accept his name as is...

'Los' but that is also a word in spanish so depends on if you are good at speaking spanish and if you can have it come out properly or just sound like you are saying something awkward.

Carlito, little Carlos, term of endearment.
You can also say mi amor (my Love) they use that alot, or
mi querido (my darling) also used alot.

A little neighbor of mine is called "Carlitos", I think it means 'little Carlos'. It's more a term of indearment than anything else. I can't think of anything better.
