A while back this girl that I am good friends with talked to me abot us being just friends. I brought the topic up, and we were both cool with that. Now, she wants to hug me, and she told some little girls that asked her that I was her boyfriend. She even told me this, and asked me if it was a funny joke. I do not understand anymore. Why did she do this??

talk to her. it sounds like her feelings toward you have changed and she is trying to get a reaction from you.

Perhaps it's wishful thinking on your friend's part, and she wanted to show off somehow to the little girls.
You ought to tell her that what she has done has upset and confused you.
Only you will know whether you want or need to break off your friendship with her.

She might have more than a friend feeling, but your friendship with her is still in contact. You'll probably learn why she did it.
