Because Wood Chuck is the name and Chucking Wood might not be his game, but for sure it his still his name.... It's like saying a guy named Tiger Jordan but he can't play golf and basketball... but he is still named tiger jordan....

maybe he had broken his arm therefore he wouldn't be able to chuck wood, or pulled a muscle in his shoulder!!
