I am trying to afford a airline ticket but I can not get a loan from a bank, or put it on my credit card or get another credit card. So does anyone know how a person afford a airline ticket? I need at least $1,700!!

the only idea is go through your house and get rid of all your valuables that you do not need through ebay or a second hand seller...you may be surprised in what you find

No offense, but if you cannot afford the ticket, you shouldn't take the flight. Getting another credit card is just going to run you into more debt and if you are already struggling with your finances, you probably don't need another bill to pay. So take a little time to think about if you really, really need to spend this kind of money on travel.

Watch the rates. Flights are usually cheaper on Tuesdays, especially late in the day. Also, shop around on the internet. If all else fails get a second job. Restaurants are always hiring servers, and if you have the spine for it you can make good money. If you save all your tips, you could have the 1,700 in 2 months.

Try an on line bidding site for travel. You can name your own price and hopefully they'll accept your price.
