i don't know about the MOST difficult but pretty high up there would be:
learning to deal with the fact that his sweet little princess is becoming a woman, complete with sexual needs.
learning to understand how everything is connected to everything else. i know lots of people have trouble with that one but for some reason males seem a lot more resistent to it.
