In my honest opinion I think its Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. From my fights he seems like the most complete fighter, the only thing I think he doesn't have is a lot of brute strength. He is very skilled, especially in arm bar submission and chokes. He has lost to 3 people in pride so far (excluding Dan Henderson, different organization). Also the amazing fact he has NEVER been TKOed or KOed which most fighters have, he has a incredible chin.
So what are your peoples thoughts?

As far as Cro Cop, I think hes one of the best strikers in pride and definatly the hardest kicker, as well as having icredible takedown defenses. Though after hes on the ground he isn't that good with ground game. Mirko Cro Cop however is my favorite fighter because his kicks are devastating.
Before I would say Shogun Rua is the best I want to see him fight more of the top PRIDE fighters. He has beaten many great fighters but not all. Hes a very good fighter though, above average in strikes and has an endless gas tank.

(Responding to Pari K) Shogun never fought Rodrigo, it was his smaller brother Rogerio. I am pretty sure Shogun would lose in a fight against Rodrigo. Everyone is right when Rodrigo has bad takedowns because he doesn't have much strength but when he does get them to the ground it's pretty much over to most fighters.

Rodrigo is one among the top five list but i dont think he is second.The weakness on rodrigo side is that he not have enough power to make the opponent ground.Even the average fighter can make him ground and that is not the ability of second best fighter.But one can identify from his fight that he had very much stamina .He can show the same performance even at the end of the fight.In the match of shogun and noguria shogun became weak at the last .If the rodrigo gets two more minutes means he would have been won.Crocop became overconfident at his fight with rodrigo and that made him to fail.I think Cro Cop is better than shogun.

Nogueira is very good, but he's not the 2nd best in Pride. CroCop is a notch above him. He was dominating Nog in the 1st fight before Nog pulled it out, and has only been more dominant since then. Meanwhile, Nog clearly lost to Josh Barnett in the Open Weight Grand Prix.
I'd have to say Shogun Rua slightly over CroCop. Shogun has shown the ability to aggressively finish his opponent with different strikes, and submissions. Outside of the freak injury to Coleman, he has whooped everyone put in front of him. He fights above his natural weight and was totally dominant in the 2005 Middleweight Tournament, fighting all top competition (Rampage Jackson, Rodrigo Nogueira, Overeem, and Arona).

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua is the next best fighter in Pride. He is fun to watch. He never goes the distance, usually winning by KO. He won the Grand Prix last year. The only reason he isn't the champ in the Light Heavyweight division right now is because he trains with the current champ, Wenderlai Silva. I like Minatauro Nogiera a lot, but Shogun has a more complete game.
