Are they puppies or adults? If they were previously housetrained, and all of a sudden are having accidents, they might have a health problem and need to be seen by a vet.
You will need to take them outside whenever you think they might need to go--right after they wake up in the morning or after a nap, when you get home, after they eat or drink, etc.
Some people find crating dogs helpful. They don't like to go where they sleep, so they are less likely to go in a crate. If you try this, be sure the crate is big enough so the dog can stand and turn around comfortably, but not so big that the dog feels like it can get away from its urine or feces. I.e., don't put a Chihuahua in a crate designed for a Great Dane.
There are some good odor eliminators out there to help clean the soiled areas of the house. But remember that dogs can smell a lot of things that we can't, so even if you can't smell any odors in the carpet anymore, the dogs may still be able to.
If you catch one of them in the act, correct and redirect them. Say "no" firmly, and take the dog outside immediately.
Remember that the dog wants to please you, so be firm but kind and encourage them to do the right thing. And be patient. Sometimes housetraining takes a while. Also, if you are leaving them alone for more than about eight hours at a time (less for puppies) it may just be that they physically can't "hold it" any more, so you may have to make arrangements to get them outside more frequently.
Good luck!

Your dogs are going to have a difficult go at it if you are embarrassed to discuss their potty habits. Repeat after me. "My dogs urinate and defecate inside. Can you help me?"
This is not an LOL situation and needs adult or mature attention. Housebreaking issues are brough up at least a dozen times a day int his section. Try the search box above to look for some of these prior questions.
There are also numerous sites dedicated to this issue. A google search will probably yield you some excellent and helpful results. I've already answered this question at least 4 times today, so I'm not going to go through it all again. Use the search box. Use google. Be smart. Good luck to you.

Limit the amount of space that they have access to. Put them in the laundry room or in the garage with access to either a litterbox or a doggy door leading outside, until they can be trusted to have the run of the house without messing in the house. You might have to start your paper training all over again, sometimes this is necessary to assure that they get the idea where they are supposed to be going to the bathroom. Good luck!

Rather than typing that all out for you, I thought I'd just give you the link to a great informative website. No hand holding, just plain simple straight forward information given by an excellent trainer/behavioralist.
If you follow these instructions, you will have a trained animal in no time.

Train them where and when to go, and then stick to the schedule.
It's not enough to tell them what they CAN'T do.
