My cat loves cheddar cheese. I sometimes give him tiny bits as treats. Is cheese harmful for him, or is it okay?

yes... cats can eat cheese.. but not to much.... what your cat CANT have is mint... that will kill him... .cheese is good but not to much

Yes, it also depends how healthy the cheese is. And my cat eat 3 tiny shreds of natural string cheese every week or so. When it have digestive issues I make my cat go on a no cheese diet for a month or more.

Feeding your cat cheese is not a good idea. It can be harmful in the long run. Find your cat a treat that is cheese favor and try that. People food is hard on the cat's stomach to digest.

Cats *can* eat cheese, but it's not a very good idea. It can upset their digestive system and there are few things worse than a sick cat.
Still if you're only giving him tiny bits as treats, it probably won't hurt him. Just don't do it too often.

My cat has been eating cheese for years. One time she did vomit because she got too much, so you should just give him what you're giving him.

my kitty loves cheese, but just little amounts. Like a couple of shredded pieces of cheddar. Although my cat loves about anything I give her .. shes a cow haha =/

my cats go ape over the stuff ! I like to have a snake of crackers and sharp cheddar and I always have help eating it ! I usually cut a chunk off for me, not soon do they notice it, then my kids are in my lap begging for the stuff, I love to watch them dig into it !
