Muslims are fundementally insecure about their religion. This is why they cheer wholesale slaughter in the name of Allah and protest by the millions over cartoons mocking them and their icons.

What apology and what unity is the Pope trying to do? He ment what he said and knew what he was doing. He doesn't want peace just like some Muslims don't want it.
I for one could care less were he visits. I am strong in my faith and have no need for him or any other person trying to convert me.
There will come a time when all religions will be in a war, but that time is not upon us yet. The end of times are coming soon, but for now we need to just chill out. All of us.

You know, recently Pope said bad things to Muslims and Islam. So some of the Muslims are angry for this.
Expect this, I'm happy for Pope's coming here, as a Turk.
I hope it will be a good visit for each religion.

You provide examples of Rome, Washington and so on. yet why? this is not a lot evaluating apples to oranges, this is extra like evaluating apples to homes. there is not any clarification for evaluation. you've your question about life like Muslims and extremist Muslims, and then you provide examples of abortion protests and immigration protests. Are you attempting to assert that those are Christians protesting adversarial to Christians, because it really is not the case. For all all of us comprehend there ought to nicely be Atheists worried about immigration. those protests ought to contain Christians, Jews, Moslems, Hindus, Wiccans, agnostics, and so on. also, in case you seem at Catholic households as an party, there are a selection of that use birth control pills, yet they don't admit it, for concern of a particular backlash, perhaps. (perhaps the bosses spouse is a Catholic with 7 little ones, so that you shop quiet. ) perhaps Muslims stay quiet for a similar reason. you may under no circumstances particularly be particular who's an extremist.

it is strange that people talk about democracy and freedom but can't accept that the others should have the right to protest peacefully !!
any way , what the pope said about mohamed was a quote that he shouldn't have said it , we are trying to burry old hatred not revive them , and nevertheless it is an insult to aprophet and an icon to alot of people , not a criticism ..
so i guess if i was in turkey i would've been protesting against him too ..

The pope's apology was half-a** and as long as the protests are peaceful, they are not doing anything wrong, just expressing there dislike of a political leader.

Because Muslims don't believe in Holy Father. And God instruct us that who ever try to mischief by misinformation should fix his mess not with merely apology but with deeds.
Pope (your holy Father) should have showed it in Quran what he wanted to prove to his fellow members or should have apologied that he trusted an unauthenticated quote of a defeating ruler.

Look at the way people are treated right here in the Q&A Religeous&Spiritual section for the way they believe or don't believe.. It's the savage world we live in.. The hearts of man are cold and mean instead of warm and loving... God bless you..
