I THINK the youngest pope was a 9 year old boy when he was elected pope... Benedictus the Ninth.....He was a illigitabate son of a pope and his sister. Look it up in the Catholic Register.

The only Female pope was Pope Joan

Pope Benedict IX and 18-20 years of age (although some sources go as low as 13).
