You can wrap it around your head and use those long clips to hold it in place and a hood dryer. Then take it down and go the other way for 45 Min's or so. It would depend on how thick and long your hair is.
I don't know about the milk idea. Try it. There are straightening products that work pretty good. Or you could use a round brush and bd it. Then apply "silk therapy" by Farouk and pull it straighter.

I even have loose curls. whilst i'm too lazy to flat iron or curl my hair I permit it a million/2 air dry and positioned it up in a pony tail. by the time it dries it particularly is going to likely be enormously right this moment and merely curled on the ends. Finger comb it and you're solid to bypass!

ya... milk... um, no. that sounds like the put-lemons-in-hair solution i used before the first day of fifth grade. i have wavy/curly hair, and what i've been doing lately, as i am WAY too lazy to spend 45 minutes getting my long hair nicely straightened (read fried) is to put it in a low yet tihgt pony-tail right after getting out of the shower (do brush, however). and then put hair ties ever inch or 2 inches in that ponytail. the hair between teh scrunchies should be reasonaly straight, with nothing falling out. make sure it is all absolutely dry before taken out, and put anti-frizz serum and leave-in conditioners to help. this look is not the stick-straight aspiring model / sorority girl look, but it straightens it out. also, it gives it a wavy and tossed feel, which is rally in right now and always really fun yet simple to do and works with everything.
enjoy!

After you wash your hair, do not just leave it. You need to comb it all the time before it gets dry.
I do this every time after I wash my hair, and it works.
