Just be careful you do know if you marry an Egyptian your children and you automatically his property or chattel he has the right to divorce you and the children in the Muslim religion always go to him. Never to the Mom.
If he removes the children from the states the US state dept. will not help you because the children have dual citizenship.
Also in most Muslim countries they have more than one wife.

Read book not without my daughter. By Bettie Moody she also has a sequel book as well. True books about how she helped people get there children back from Muslim countries.
If you are American women most are too strong willed to be someone property and speaking up can get you killed there.

I have a dear friend who did marry and Egyptian and her husband is now being shipped back to Egypt because he was considered subversive in the US now she has 4 kids to care for he has a new wife in Egypt and now she stuck even though he has asked her to come over there. She not all that on the 2 wife thing.

Please read these books before making up your Mind

For the Love of a Child
Not Without My Daughter both by Betty Mahmoody

At Any Price: How America Betrayed My Kidnapped Daughters for Saudi Oil by Patricia Roush
My Forbidden Face: Growing Up Under the Taliban - A Young Woman's Story by Latifa
Princess: A True Story of Life Behind the Veil in Saudi Arabia by Jean P. Sasson

It may work. If he is religious, it has it has a better chance as he will look to his religion to resolve any problems which may arise due to culture differences etc. If he's NOT religion, I advice you find out as MUCH as you can about Islam & your rights as his wife in Islam, because irriligious Muslims tends to follow culture instead which can often be unfair etc. Good luck!
