I want to lose 25 pounds in 3 months
Seems reasonable, 2 pounds a week or so.
I dont want to go on one of those trendy diets, buy shakes, or anything like that.
I want items I can buy from a grocery store as a diet.
Can someone tell me a good diet&exercise plan? I have a very slow metabolism, I can list the windows of time I can eat:
7-8AM
9:10-9:15AM
10:17-10:30AM
12:30-1:00PM
4:00-10:00PM

I can exercise anywhere from 4-10 PM
I have access to pool and treadmill.
I'd just like something organized, because I simply choose not to exercise if I dont have a plan

Asuming your weight is stable right now, you would need a combined difference of 1,000 calories a day (between reduced eating and increased exercise). That is a bit aggressive; 800 a day and extending the time is a bit more realistic and would drop 21 pounds.

For the exercise, the one you enjoy and will do is the best bet. When one is exercising, one is not tempted to eat , added advantage. 45 minutes of tiring but enjoyable exercise 5 times a week. Add weight lifting between the treadmill and swimming or other aerobic stuff.
you should be sweating and out of breath.
The other 2 days are just simple 30 minute walks.

(If you can burn an extra 200 calories a day, you would only need to cut 600 more caloris from food)

For food; plan, plan, plan. Have the right stuff on hand.

Fruits and yogurt are your snacks, apples good, so are mangos because they take so much time to peel.

Get foods you like and follow this plan;

Replace sauces with spices- get a spice guide.

Have a cup of almost any kind of soup to start lunch and dinner.

Eat at least three servings of any vegetables you like with dinner along with 4 oz of lean meat, your choice.

Lunch is the cup of good soup, simple dinner salad, low cal dressing.

Drink 8 oz of water every hour and with every meal.

Breakfast, coffee or tea, dry whole wheat toast, egg beater egg, soy sausage or equivelent.

Cut almost all starchy fillers, all white breads, white sugar, white rice, white potatoes.
Replace with healthy veggies, as much as you want.

Need a sweet snack? blend a really ripe banana with skim milk and an ice cube, sweeten with stevia.

need chocolate? mix stevia with ricotta cheese and some cocoa.

Going out to eat? many places have more healthy dishes, call ahead.

No booze unless going out, then its white wine spritzer (gotta go out with the friends or life is too boring)

It is very possible to lose 25 pounds in 3 months. I just lost 23 pounds in 2 months time simply through exercise. I did nothing to change my diet except to cut way down on the amount of soft drinks I have. You don't need to buy special diet foods, just eat small healthy meals. Do about 30 minutes of aerobic excerise each day and drink lots of water. You will see a difference in a couple of weeks.

Healthy diet and exercise is the way to go. There are NO magic pills, etc.

2 pounds a week may be a bit tough. You need to lose 3500 calories in order to lose 1 pound of weight. Generally, if you can lose 500 calories a day through a healthy diet and or exercise you will be able to lose 1 pound in a week. 500 calories times 7 days equals 3500 calories or 1 pound. You will need to lose 1000 calories a day in order to lose 25 pounds in 3 months.

25 pounds in 3 Months is very reasonable. You will allow your body to adjust to the change in a steady process. Your best friend through all of this will be WATER. Yes! WATER. Continue to eat healthy but simply get 2-3 liters of water a day. the way it sounds may come off a little hard, but when you do this for about 2 weeks, you'll really see a difference.

Eat small meals through out the day. 5-6 small meals. Drink only water. Eat veggies and lean meats. Cut back on carbs and sugar. Then exercise everyday about 20-30 minutes. An easy way to do this is go at a moderate speed at a slight incline on the treadmill... upping your speed every few minutes to give you a boost.
