Eat the Tuna. I ate a half can of Tuna for lunch three or for times a week for two years and lost 80 pounds. It's very low in fat and high in protein. Buy the tuna that in packed in water (not in oil). And don't eat it with mayonaise unless its fat-free, or you will be defeating the purpose. Light-myponaise is still too high in fat. I just ate mine with mustard.
I had a co-worker who ate a whole can of tuna every day for 40 years until he retired. He was 65 and outworking guys half his age.
The tuna is better for you than a Big Mac.

Tuna is not bad for you I don't know who told you it was? Although I did notice what you were listing as far as diet, and wanted to make sure that water has its place somewhere in there. I also would not say tuna is a great way to loose weight fast. While tuna is good for you it is considered to be a fatty fish, and can cause you to gain weight if you eat a lot of it. It also matters how your eating it. Are we talking canned tuna (not so bennificial) w/ mayonnaise (very fatning), or fresh tuna (the better way to go). My policy with diets is anything in excess is bad you have to have a balance with food. Some people can synthesize protein really fast, but there are a vast majority of people that can not. Forcing your body to synthesize that much protein (taking into consideration the whey protein your drinking) can send your body through quite an overhaul. Pace yourself if you want to loose weight fast focus on drinking plenty of water, and get simple sugars out of your diet. This will already make a major difference in how you feel, and give you a lot of energy to contend with the day. Then when that is accomplished look at balancing your meals with a protein (seared tuna), plenty of green vegetables (spinach, broccoli, aspargus, and brussel sprouts), and maybe a starch (potatos, rice, pasta) keeping in mind to control the amount of fat you put in like oils and butter.

Tuna is not bad for you.... in fact tuna is the best meat for protein, i believe you get 23g of protein per 4-6 ounces of tuna..... so with that said tuna should be on every diet/ exercise program......
