An external hemmroid does not fall off when the irritation is gone the inflamation goes down and the pain, itch and irritation go with it. The surrounding tissue shrinks back to normal size.

No, hemmroids don't fall off. they shrink back inside (or they can be pushed in).It could also have been a blood clot. To be on the safe side, you might want to go to the doctor the next time this happens. You probably need to make sure it wasn't something else. www.familydoctor.org is an excellent (and safe) site to find more information about hemmoroids.

In short, if your hemmoroid is clotted (That is to say, it's full of blood), it will fall off.

I've had the same condition. Mine fell off in the toilet when i went for a crap. It's an extremely painful condition and you should visit a doctor if pain persists.

Also, it's quite important to make sure that your diet contains lots of fibre, fruit & vegetables to prevent the situation from reoccuring.

Good luck and may your *** grapes fall of in a timely manner.
