I'm looking for recipes that don't take long, and that don't cost to much money to get the ingredients. Mainly baking recipes like cookies and cakes.

You mind will go dizzy once you start looking because there are so very many good recipes to pick from--on the web. So hop to it, and look. Lots of recipes using just a cake mix, for example, a couple of eggs and 1/2 c oil will make some fantastic cookies. The foodnetwork is a great source as one suggestion. Have fun.

Do you get the Food Network on TV? Watch a few of the programs on that channel and see if there is one (or a few) of the shows/hosts you like. Go to foodnetwork.com and look at their schedule or recipes, Sandra Lee has some really easy things on her show "Semi-Homemade." I think she says it's 70% store bought and 30% of your ingredients... to make it 100% homemade. There are so many websites out there that you'd go nuts looking at everything, start with her.

Of course, you can always look at cookbooks- there are tons at bookstores. Any family members that can share recipes with you? It's always nice to have a "family" recipe or two in your file! That way, you know you like it as you've already had it.

Pilsbury make really good, quick, simple recipe books that you can usually just pick up in the check-out line at the grocery for just a few bucks.
