Vinyl or wood siding Which one is better looking?

Wood - Hardy plank or cedar shingles - ***nice***.

The one thing about vinyl siding to look like wood I think it ends up looking lyk something out of Tyco blocks or something. But w wood you have to restain it every 1 or 2 yrs so it does take some work to maintain. So it depends how much time you have on your hands. Other vinyl not the wood looking is great!!

I think that vinyl is a very attractive siding, as long as it isn't supposed to look like logs.

Either one could look good, but I would think that vinyl would be easier to take care of.

I'd go with the wood, but I like the look of wood if it's seasonend to a rich pine or cedar look
