Well let's see. I'm sure there are some things that I could lose by trusting Christ.
1) I could lose the opportunity to contract AIDS.
2) I could lose the opportunity to become a drug addict.
3) I could lose the opportunity to live an empty meaningless life.
4) I could lose the opportunity to know what true joy is like.
5) I could lose the opportunity to ---- Oh, must I go on?
I think you get the point. There are so many benefits that a Christian reaps directly related to a relationship with Christ.

What if the true religion isn't Christianity? Then you're screwed. It's not a 50-50 chance.

Problem is, it's not a 50-50 chance, and the fact someone is a Christian could actually land them in hell if the real god is someone else. I hate this argument.

"believe in a god just in case. that is the exact opposite of faith." Thank you Chris.
As far as I'm concerned we're all little lost black sheep. It's God's job to leave the flock and come find us. If there truly is a God then I'm sure He can find a way (with all that supposed all-knowingness) to get us back if that is what He wants.

Ture but what if Jesus Christ (pbuh) asked why you made him God when he instructed you clearly that he is "Son of Man" and "Christ" and it was the only purpose my God (remember not my father) send me to you?
"Hear O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one." (Jesus quoted by Mark 12:29)
1..'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' "This is the great and foremost commandment.
2 "And a second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." (Jesus as quoted by Matthew 22:37)
3. "I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose."

Pascal's wager has already been covered ad nauseum.
Got an original thought? One you haven't regurgitated from a 17th century mind?

what if Cerunuuos is the true god any you should all be out hunting on Sunday instead of going to church?
there are thousands of gods. why do Christians have the insane idea that their god is the single true god.
oh yeah.....Pascal's Wager is so much BS. even in his time it was a ridiculous thought.
believe in a god just in case. that is the exact opposite of faith.
maybe this is why there is so much hypocrisy in the christian church.

What you are describing is Pascal's wager. If there's nothing, all you've done is waste your life believing a false prophet, which may be fine with you.
