i go for a blood test this week I have had problems with it before. I take a multivitaim but have been feeling tierd and look a little paler than normal. Should I tone down my workouts till I know for sure?

take energy vitamins. or eat vegetables.

No, try eating some foods that are great for iron.Here is a few- eggs,legumes,, whole grain, enriched and fortified breads and cereals(more than 1 portion, dark greens(brocolli) and dried fruits,meats, fish and poultry.

If your workouts are taking the energy out of you... make sure you do not over work yourself. only you will know if you are overdoing it.
