Yes, it is young since it doesn't have the tired and over-asked number 22 in the question.

In the twenty first century I would call it young. People are living longer and most seem to be in their mid to late 80's before they pass on, so 44 is still a prime time.
I am almost sixty and don't feel old. I do get a kick out of some of the responses from the young kids who have 15 seconds of life experience and think 44 is old.

Please don't fall into stereotypical gay male ageism, life is so short in the grand scheme of things a lifetime is but a fleeting fart in the universe. So every age is young.... and we're all beautiful no matter what the age.
I would do a 44 year old, so who cares right?
Hell, I would do a 90 year old if I felt like Mother Teresa one day. That's been happening a lot lately. If guys continue to take care of themselves they'll be hot in any age. 99% of people allow themselves to get smelly and old.

I say- its a lovely age and certainly not old. But as a 48 year old myself I can understand the feeling of getting older, yet wiser.. I think 44 is prime for a man..

You are as young/ old as you feel.
44 is old to a kid but young to an old man. To men those (40ish) are the sexy years. Just look at Daniel Craig from the new James Bond movie.

Okay- are you kidding?
You are middle aged and know it.- Hello- LOVE IT!
SO why do you want to be a young man? OH GOD WHY!
At 44 your either just great or realizing that it "aint" workin for you and you need to teach that dog new tricks.
Good luck.

Hello Jack
So, mathematically speaking, your year is 1962, yes?
I think our experiences & how we internalize/utilize them influence our age perception.
At just 'bout 40, I've been thru a lot emotionally(as we all have); never travelled, never suffered physically--------now, here's my "mechanism" ----CELEBRATE your bday every two years
you'll always be two yrs younger and the celebration will be with balloons, bubbles, etc.... don't forget the pictures!
of course you are still young @ 44 - we will not be afraid!

I hope so because I'm 40 & I don't feel old but I'm not a guy. Age is just a number you can be 45 & feel like you're 80 or vice versa
