It may well be possible to prove that the invisible pink unicorn does not exist in your room, but in another room that is another question.

Does this Invisible Pink Unicorn have any effect on the lives of humans either directly or indirectly? Are their any claims of it affecting our lives (for example are you saying that if I pray to the IPU than my prayers will be answered)? If so, than we may be able to debate its existence. If not, than there is no evidence to go on.

No. The statement "there exists an invisible pink unicorn" is an existential statement, so its negative is a universal statement. In the real world, universal statements are never provable, although in mathematics they may be.

Well, I think it's safe to say that no one has ever seen it! Unicorns don't talk so even if someone felt it they wouldn't know what it was. Personally I've never heard of such a thing! You would have to have prove that it DOES exist if it does. But I think it's reasonably safe to say that it doesn't!!

I believe that between Earth and the moon there is a teapot just floating there. Can you prove that it DOESN'T exist? Ha! I didn't think so.
Thanks Richard Dawkins.
