Seems like the retort to an Atheist's "Prove God exists" is "Prove He doesn't." How possible is this? What "evidence" could be provided to prove this?

it is nonsense to assume something exists just because you cant prove otherwise.

can you prove the invisible pink unicorn does not exist?

It is impossible to disprove the existence of a god unless you start defining that god. You can then say that a certain god doesn't exist if it is given contradictory attributes..in the same way that a square circle can't exist..a god given contradictory attributes can't exist.

Epicurus does away with the possibility that the god of the Bible exists even before The New Testament was written.

“The gods can either take away evil from the world and will not, or, being willing to do so cannot; or they neither can nor will, or lastly, they are able and willing. If they have the will to remove evil and cannot, then they are not omnipotent. If they can but will not, then they are not benevolent. If they are neither able nor willing, they are neither omnipotent nor benevolent..Lastly, if they are both able and willing to annihilate evil, why does it exist? ” -Greek philosopher Epicurus (341-270 BCE).

Of course the Bible could be in error and the god could still exist.

An atheist's position is not that they can disprove all possible gods, or any god at all for that matter..It is that they merely disbelieve in the existence of gods. It is up to the person making the claim to prove that something exists. Otherwise I could say that invisible blue trolls are running around and if the default was to believe me unless you disproved my assertion..then you would forever believe that there were invisible blue trolls running around.

Some Gods yes, some Gods probably are more difficult to disprove.

For example, the Greek Gods if they are supposed to be physical beings with physical bodies in a palace on top of the mount Olympus. Then we can see that there are no immortal beings living there.

Or the Norse Gods, the fact that Thor would go fishing for a world serpent that is wrapped around the Earth a few times, we can see that such a thing is not true, nor does Thor walk among us.

Neither can be proven or disproven. Maybe someday it will be possible, but why should proving he doesn't exist be a good reason to believe? There is more evidence on the side supported by science, which is the atheist/agnostic side.

There is no way to prove the existence of God, one way or the other.

they cannot prove it. they just like to talk about it. perhaps satan keeps them doing that so that we are distracted by their silly questions. if they/he can do that then we will spend less time discussing the Greatness of our GOD. in view of that i say that we Christians should not be side tracked by them any more but we should use this as a place to proclaim the Goodness and Holiness of our Father.

It's not possible to prove something doesn't exist. Especially when it comes to something that can't be readily, objectively observed by all people.

See? Atheists are just as capable as Christians of asking rhetorical questions. YOU CANNOT PROVE A NEGATIVE.
You know this.

There is proof of God. (Romans 1:19-20) Since many do not believe that, there is also evidence of God. Again, many choose not to believe all that evidence. It seems to me that those who claim not to believe in God really do believe in Him in their heart of hearts, subconsciously,if you will. They simply don't WANT to believe, therefore deceiving themselves into thinking God doesn't exist.

Nothing on either side will be proven until the rapture. At that point, all the athiests and and evolusionists will realize the fatal mistake made.
