No, Gays should be executed for being who they are no matter who thinks it's a sin. The real shame is that there are plenty of Christians here who would love to re-institute the same kinds of laws here in the USA.

Ah they should have a don't ask don't tell policy shouldn't they. Sorry I was being flippant. I don't believe it is right to execute gay people for being gay but executing them for their sins is something else. Perhaps they are guilty of the sin of murder or child abuse they should be executed for those sins. That is the problem with countries that are based on religion law. Some sins in those countries are more serous than they would be in the USA. But it is their country and they have a right to make their laws. Would you have the USA go to war so you could get naked like in the disgusting picture you insist on displaying on a religious page. Show some respect for God's sake. I shouldn't have to look the other way to avoid disgusting nudity. God bless kisses Betty.

I am not defending Iran but I have concerned that our media should bring full news(if possible):

Abdolakrim Lahidji is vice president of the Paris-based International Federation of Human Rights.

"In recent months, two young boys were executed in Mashad," Lahidji said. "Their crime was the rape of a [13-year-old] boy. Therefore, this should not be considered as homosexuality. It was a rape case and based on that they were sentenced to death and executed. Except for that, we have not come across anything else. If the news [about the execution of two men for homosexual conduct] is correct, it shows that two people who had such relations with mutual consent have unfortunately been punished to death in Iran."

Why would they just single out the gays. The gays are not the only ones sinning I am sure. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone(or pull the first execution switch) is what I say. May God Bless

I don't think one human being or a group of human beings have the right to chose to play God and end a human life. What sex a person chooses to love is their own business, and if you don't like, you can choose to look the other way.

Of course not. Personal sexuality that does not take advantage of vulnerable groups (children, animals, mentally deficient people) is not the business of the government.

Of course not. They shouldn't be killed but I do think homosexuality should be condemned (just like other sins). People shouldn't bend under pressure; they should stick to their morals. Peace.
