I am a 20 y/o female and I really want to become a police officer when I turn 21. I have two months to go. My question is do you think guys will be intimidated by me and not want to date me because of my profession?

i would infact love to date a police officer.
a gal who is police oficer is a confident gal. who would not want to have her.
go for what u want. dont worry abt others.
infact if u become one, you will get better quality guys. ppl who get intimidated by such things are not god enough.
so go n become a police officer. you will get cool guys

I work with male and female Police Officers every day. Neither me or the other guys I work with are in any way intimidated by a Female Officer. If you ever meet a guy like that ...RUN like all get out ! Good Luck officer !

Some guys will be, but others will think it's hot! The guys that are intimidated by a strong, independent woman like yourself, you won't want to date anyway. Have you seen the movie 'Angel eyes' with jlo? i highly recommend it!

Maybe and maybe not. I'm a police officer in the military and my husband is not intimidated by me whatsoever. Some men will be and some won't.

I think they'd be more alarmed to know you're considering career choices based on what guys would like. Live the life you want and let the rest take care of itself, that's the most honest way.

Some would be intimidated and may not want to date you (criminal types), others wouldn't be intimidated buy would find your choice of occupation distasteful and not want to date you (ethical types).
