Seriously, I always hear it from Jews about the holocaust and how horrible it was and hitler, blah blah blah. What about you just protest the person could have done something about to avoid it but instead sat around doing nothing, yahweh? Don't get me wrong, I think it was an atrocity what happened, but if I were a Jew, I sure as heck would be pissed off at the person who didn't do anything for me when he could.

Hey, I think it was horrible too, but what I'm saying is that god permitted it to happen. Someone already said "people did this." True, but Yahweh sat around doing nothing and let it happen, so in a way isn't this god's will? Shouldn't you be happy god got his way once more?

A lot of Jews ARE angry at God. But God didn't do it, Hitler did, and he did it knowing that he was going to commit genocide. To say that Jews should hate God because of the Holocaust is to say that Americans should hate God because He didn't stop the Civil War. Men caused it, men had to deal with it.

The usual consensus is that the Creator (by whatever name you call Him/Her) gave us free will, and we can choose to abuse it or not. The Creator will help people find their way into the places that they can stop the abuse, but they have the choice of whether or not to act on the opportunity, just as those who choose to cause harm decided that they were going to abuse their power to hurt others.

I have known Jewish people who lost their faith because of this. This is very tragic in itself. I do think that the Jews are God's chosen people and it was such a tragic thing. Some lost their faith, some cursed God, and others never abandoned their faith. They died as they lived. There were many brave Saints during those times, some Jewish, some Christian. Read the accounts of Ann Frank and Bonhoeffer.

You say that God sat by and did nothing. There is a limit to what He allows Himself to do in human affairs because of the gift of free will that we were given. People are God's instruments in this world, He works through His children.

I think He did much more than you know or belief. Hitler lost and the Jews are still here, a remnant perhaps, but alive and strong. "A light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it."

God didn't have anything to do with it. Earth is a really awful college where we learn all sort of things. The holocaust, and all of it's "players" taught humanity countless valuable lessons. The idea is to learn, and get on with it. That's why Jews bring it up, to NEVER FORGET!!!! History has a way of repeating itself. They are just making sure that an event like this will never happen again!!!! As easy is it is for you to be so bored with the whole thing is the very reason that people need to learn more about it. If you really saw all that was done, saw all the photos, film footage, faces and faces of people who were used as scapegoats and experimented on, then you wouldn't take this so lightly. I urge you to click on my sources links and peek.

You are right. God did not do anything. However, He did not sit down and watched it happened. He allowed it to happen as part of his prophesy long time before Jesus. Had Jesus accomplished his mission for Israel the way God wanted him to do it, perhaps it would not have happened. Read your Bible.
God's words is always final. Yet his curse is always conditional. The world is cursed for its mistakes but he can always change His mind like what He did in Nineveh when people starting from the lowest to the King have given up their wordly activities and repented. The Jews are noted for their stubborness and they were cursed but they did not listen well. They may not have understood fully the laws given to them. One of the punishments was to be exiled from their own land. The holocaust may have given them the thoughts of going back since they have never been fully welcomed wherever they stay.

This scripture is from James chapter 1 verses 12 to 15 and it shows that God is not responsible for any of the evil things that happen here on Earth. Man has free will and is responsible for its own actions.

12 Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. 13 When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. 14 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

The holocaust was a digusting action that saw the deaths of way to many people. It was most likely the most disgusting act man has ever done to itself. Millions of Jews, Romas (gypsies), Homosexuals, and Jehovahs Witnesses would not and do not appreciate anyone saying anything that belittles what there people went through in those camps. Nothing good happens when you try to destroy people because of there race, religion or sexual preference.

How did it end then? What made Americans and Russians who were perfectly safe in their own countries come to rescue them?

The seven years that Dr. Victor Frankl spent in the concentration camp, came out as logotherapy, which helped a lot of people.

God works in mysterious ways.

christians/islamics/jews all have the same god, but different messiahs
and in judiasm, theirs hasnt come yet

anywho..
lets not forget it wasnt just the jews being killed..
it was anyone not white/blonde hair/blue eyes
homosexuals, and gypsies.. and probably more
so it couldnt have been "their" god who wanted them all dead

and i dont think there was much they could do...
at first, they probably just thought he was some crazy guy
and didnt think he would cause any harm

and then once the nazi party grew, and had so many people believing the jews were the cause of all their problems, protesting/strikes/rebellions would have been easily crushed. ppplus, with all the communist protestors being arrested/killed, they knew it wasnt safe to do that..

i dont think the average person would really want to go and put themselves in danger, they just want to live peacefully.

its the same today, if someone started saying we should kill everyone thats left handed.. people wont be happy.. but they wont care too much either, theyll just continue on with their everyday life, they wouldnt go out and start protesting

It was just released yesterday. The Germans murdered 17 1/2 million people. 6 million were Jews. The rest were Poles, gypsies, homosexuals, and even the handicapped.

God does not get involved with us here. Duh!!!!!

Have you had a child who died of cancer? God did not cure them either. He does not get involved. We are on our own when we come out of our mothers womb.

Dude, you're a douche.
A) Yes, many jews were/are upset with G-d. What does that have to do with our fellow man though, our fellow man who committed these sins?
B) While we may be upset with G-d, its difficult -- if not impossible -- to judge Him for many reasons.
