Does anyone have an idea on how to booby trap a bedroom to know if anyone else is entering besides myself.

If there's a specific place in the room where you want to "know" if somebody's checking out, leave like a strand of hair and remember it's position. When you come back, see if it's still in the same position. This won't work if there's something in the room that may move the strand of hair, like a fan or something.
Or
Take a picture of the room before you leave and make sure some things are positioned in such a way that they will most likely to be moved if someone comes in. Like a pillow on the floor, or a shirt that's positioned in such a way. The last thing you should do before you leave the room is take a picture of it. When you come back, the first thing you should do is take a picturea again. See if some things moved.

Leave a grizzly bear in the room when you go out. If there is a mess when you get back, that's the person, but they won't do it again. Or you could just put anything you don't want anyone else to see in a lock box.

Yeah I read in a spy novel that before leaving the room put like a piece of tape on your door at the top so they would not notice it and check see if its broken when you come back to your room.

Put a marble on the inside of your room where the door would push it in...try to position it so it will go under something and cannot be retrieved

Rig a paint ball gun to where it will fire when the door is open. Or rig a gallon of water so it will tilt and pour over. The sky's the limit.

Place a small piece of clear tape at the bottom of the door so that if they open the door it is peeled off one side.

Google "surveillance"... for under $100 you can get a wireless camera that looka like a teddy bear, radio, or a covert one the size of a quarter....waddaya tink GWB uses...?

Tape a piece of paper across the crack of the door
Write something on it that you can easily identify as your handwriting with.

Or you could just ask your mom to stop snooping.
