13 is the most common number for the age of accountability based on the Jewish custom that a child becomes an adult at the age of 13. However, the Bible doesn't directly support that. It likely varies from child to child. A child has passed the age of accountability once he or she is capable of making a faith decision for or against Christ.
How many of you believe,as I do,that even if the parents don't believe in God,their under the age of accountability children will still be taken in the Rapture?
This is not a scare tactic for those who don't believe. I truly believe your children,grandchildren,great-grandchildren ,if under the age of accountability, will not be held responsible for your unbelief and will therefore rise to Heaven during the Rapture.
That day will be a day of joy unspeakable for the believers, but a day of unspeakable horror for those whose children will disappear.

Once we are old enough to understand and decide, we are all responsible for our belief or lack of it. A question like this doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose, but then, I don't know. Part of my faith is that God is always a fair judge of every situation. I know that a very tired Jesus once told HIs disciples, "Allow the children to come unto me and don't stop them from doing so." I don't believe that He would leave children behind in the rapture. If you've read the Bible, you know the horror that will come upon the earth once the church is removed, so I agree with you there. Likewise, all parents ideally would be concerned that they are bringing their children up to know God. As Christians, however, I think there are better things to tell people about God than something like this. That's just me.

Whoa- GIrl your real serious!

I will keep it simple.
The age of accountability is NOW.
Rapture (biblcal reference or not) is also Now!

The world you live IN is the world you create. If you live in fear of the unknown and assume the worst then that is long painful journey to redemption.

It is my belief that "believers or non believers" whom only share the belief of a higher spirit, (no matter its name) will be joined together in a better place once passing through this lifetime.

Yet its the actions, deeds and thoughts generationed in this present time and place that will greatly effect to passage of time.

There is no "age of acountability" regarding salvation in the Bible or Christian history. It is something totally made up to make a violent, tribal theology more palatable. Read the "red words" of the New Testament again.

There is no Rapture unless in your thinking, Jesus continually makes a U-turn before His Second Coming, a scandalous thought. As I can clearly see, you are heading deeper into a pit of self-imposed confusion. Truth is not a Gnostic secret, you know.
