What does it mean if a guy always IMs you first, but then after a while doesn't really say much of anything or doesn't seem interested in the conversation anymore, and then he says he has to go? This guy is confusing me. We're friends, so I don't know if he's just being friendly and then getting bored, or if he likes me and then doesn't know what to talk about. Have any of you ever had an experience like this?

It may be that he doesn't have anything else to talk about or he's waiting on you to find something to talk about...lol..it happens.

depends what u are talking about. If it bores him then I understand his leaving. If you are talking about something that interest him then I dont know. Whether he likes you or not, would that matter if he keeps leaving? What do you want is the question?

Sudden change in personality could result from you showing him your picture & he doesn't like what he sees or he found out something about you that he doesn't like. If he was genuinely busy then he wouldn't have showed interest in the first place.

It means you need to get a better bf. He has poor long term attention span. There are lots of nice guys out there who would love to have you for a gf.
