I've been dating this man for 5 weeks. I do understand that we haven't been dating that long, but he's never taken me out to dinner. (He has mentioned that he doesn't really have alot of money). It's not that I expect to be "wined and dined", but dinner once in a while would be nice. We go for bike rides, he has dinner at my house, and we've had lunch a couple of times at restaurants. He did spend thanksgiving with his ex and their children at a home they still own together (even though he did stop by my house for a brief visit) He's been divorced for about 6 years. In his emails he tells me he misses me and can't wait to see me, but when we do see each other, he always hugs me and has not kissed me at all, not even on the cheek. I'm very confused. I'm wondering if it's possible that this man is still in love with his ex-wife or could there be some other reason for the mixed signals. Any advice would be helpful.

WOW for a min I thought you were talking about me lol. I been with my gf for 6mths. But Ive took her out to movies and have gone to her house... When you said this.."He did spend thanksgiving with his ex and their children at a home they still own together"...That right there girl.. you should stop right there.. Of course he still has strong feelings for this X of his. but to never kiss you...C'MON he can give u a peck its not like girls have STD's on there face's...

He could be still in love with his ex. How did the relationship end was it her or him? Plus because of the kids they will always have a bond. Maybe he doesn't want to get close to someone again, he might not want to get hurt again. Good luck

YES, HE MAY STILL HAVE FEELING FOR HIS EX WIFE THEY
WERE TOGETHER FOR 6 YEARS. SO IT VERY NORMAL TO
STILL HAVE SOME KIND OF FEELING. BUT SINCE YOU AND
HE HAVE NOT BEEN TOGETHER FOR A SHORT TIME. DONT
LET IT WORRY YOU SO MUCH UNLESS IT BECOME MORE
OF A PROBLEM THEN TIME TO TALK TO HIM.
