It's your money, so it's also your choice to spend on whatever you like. But have you thought about how fast each kid grows? I mean really, I personally feel that it is a waste to buy clothing with no room to grow and eventually will probably end up at Goodwill.

sure, why not. I guess some of that could depend on the childs age and how much clothing you are getting for that money. But then again, I have 2 tween daughters who really want these outfits that are over 50 each for christmas. So, 6 outfits would be $300. and there are 7 days in a week! lol

I never really understood paying a fortune for kids clothes as that is the one thing you can be certain they wont be wearing in a years time! Sure spend $300 but for that you should try and get a whole wardrobe full!! get a few things in a bigger size so he gets longer out of them. Also summer clothes are cheaper in winter so look into that as well. Maybe just buy one really nice outfit for going out for around $50 and spend the rest wisely.

I suppose it would depend on the age of the child. If you were spending it on a school-age kid, no big deal. Even a young school age kid, because they will certainly get their use out of them.
But if it is a toddler, I wouldn't be so apt to spend that much. They grow too quickly. If it is a toddler, I would spend half on clothes and put the other half in a savings for them.

That is perfectly fine if it's his b-day and christmas. For his sake maybe split the clothes in half and give at seperate times so he feels like you remembered his b-day. I know a lot of kids with christmas b-days feel let down when people give one gift for both.

If you choose to spend the money on clothes and have it to spare then sure why not.I do not have that kind of money to spend on childrens clothes myself because I have to buy for 4 children and they out grow them so fast so I choos not to but do buy my children a couple of real nice outfits every so often.I am sure that I would spend that kind of money on each of them myself if money was no object but do whatever you want.

I always keep in mind when buying clothes for children (mine and my friends) that they don't wear their clothes for as long as we do and they are very hard on what they wear. I usually don't buy the fanciest or most expensive clothes for my daughter. I usually pick through the clearance racks to get good deals. I don't think that I have ever spent that much money on my daughter for one season of clothing. I think that it is a bit much, but the final decision is ultimately yours.

No it is their money what they do with that's none of your difficulty..you probably did a number of those issues to your new child out of responsiblity and love. howdy I easily have been there and completed that..they are going to be outta your hair quickly adequate basically appreciate what time you have with them..the terrific days of my existence became into when I had the two one in all my boys at domicile .. particular i had hell with them yet now i can look returned and notice we did have a sturdy time mutually..

As long as you are getting your money's worth. I know people who will spend that on one or two outfits...I don't even spend that on me! I shop at Old Navy for my 3 boys and I can get several shirts, pants and outerwear.

Is this for your toddler? Because if it is, he's just going to poop in them and then spill stuff on them. $300 is fine for a teen, but not a great choice for a toddler prone to staining things.
