it means they are obviously not interested in keeping a one on one relationship. If you have someone who is doing this, dump him. If you are the one giving them the number, remember, it will probably happen to you too when you are with him. If he was a real man, he would break it off with his current girl if it is not working, rather than be a cheat

as someone who has a gf, and one who i have been with for almost 6 years. I love my gf so much, and will never cheat on her. But there are many nights where i like to have attention from other girls. I would prefere he got her number, rahter than give her his own. It may be a cry for attention.
