I don't know. Of-course you have to get to know somebody, but a lot is unconsciously inferred from someone's physicality and the way he or she interacts with another. You might not think you know many details about someone after having or watching a conversation, but you know more than you know you do! There was a recent study that showed that people could predit with a great degree of accuracy what their future relationships would be like within the first 30 seconds of interaction.
Of-course I'm a firm believer in getting to know someone. Love- true love- often grows and surprises you! And whatever you feel at first sight often fails you, as you discover things about your parter that are painful deal breakers. However, something can definitely be exchanged between two strangers, and when it happens- it's very exciting!!!
And no- I am NOT talking about lust. Lust happens all the time. It's not love, it's not infatuation, it's not anything but physical attraction.
With all my exes, it started with that special, hard to describe, mutual feeling- I am an atheist, but it felt like our souls were magnetized towards each other. Amazing how with knowing so little about someone else, each time I had that feeling it resulted in years of real love.

I totally believe in lust at first sight, rather than love at first sight. I may love their looks right off the bat, but to me love comes after I get to know them on a more personal level, in addition to just physical appearance.
Sometimes guys get scared off if you move too fast. I would take it a little slower. Good luck :)

my grandmother and grandfather met in 1st grade they have been each others fist kisses 1st dates and 1st loves... they fell in love in intense college and characteristic been married over 40 years... they have been young infants and in love... that little tale proves you could fall in love whilst your a young person in basic terms using fact a stereotypical teen will date a guy for each week and say they're in love and then break up cry for some days say you will on no account love back and then start up relationship yet another guy does not recommend that everyone young infants are like that...a great variety of young infants are extra mature and characteristic a extra useful head on their shoulders then adults think of even in spite of the undeniable fact that i don't have self belief in love in the commencing up sight considering that isn't like it extremely is lust or actual charm for the different guy or woman

no i don't, I think that's lust, love is determined by many things, alot to do with attitude and how well you get along, you can't tell that right off the bat.
I think maybe you are being to available, that is not attractive, and also no offense don't think it is real love, my guess is your young and when you find that one, you will laugh at what you thought was love before.

maybe you need to experience them. maybe they aren't the guys you thought they were. i used to like two guys. one was really cute and the other was really nice and he cared about me. i left the hot one behind because he wasn't who I thought they were.
You didn't mess up. you probably acted too fast and scared them away. They might think that you are acting too fast. slow it down, and don't rush!
good luck!!!

The GUYS you HAVE loved! Sounds to me like you mistook lust for love since it has yet to work out for you.
Maybe you should slow down.
