to my stomach. I feel nausated. I ate finally a sandwich a few hours ago, but I really feel awful. No headache just nausea. Should I be concerned. Refresher, I had Margaritas (drank through a straw) and two shots of this stuff taste like licorice. I felt dizzy, stumbled several times and throwing up, bad headache. I took 3 Tylenol... I have been sick since I got home this am. I am worried since I never done this before. Trust me last time too. I hate coffee, I drank OJ, one coke and mostly water. What should I do now.

I am now freaking out because I took the Tylenol. Because I am just a few hours shy when this drunken mess began. Word to the wise... If you are a social drinker limit your drinks to one or two... and NEVER do the straw... I am kicking myself.

Honey...Taking Tylenol after drinking can be fatal. not to scare you but please see the link below. If you don't start feeling better soon get off the computer and go the the hospital...better yet call for help, don't try to drive.

Normally drinking water is best but please not too much because you can die from consuming too much water. (link below) Some people think that you can drink a gallon of water to flush out the alcohol. not true!

If you have a mint type of tea, drink that. sometimes chewing some gum or sucking on a mint helps to ease the nausea.

You should know better than to take tylenol after you have been drinking. Get someone to stay in the room with you just to monitor you and if you still feel bad I would go to the er. Though I doubt that it's that serious. At least I pray that it's not. I hope that you were just joking.

Hot tea should help a lot. Fresh air should also help with the nausea. Go outside for a minute or open the window.

Feel better soon and be careful next time please. :-)

****BARBARA - Contact Tylenol and get your facts straight. It only takes one time of saying this can't hurt me...don't encourage people to be reckless, please....maybe some ppl are lucky not to have been affected but don't keep taking chances with it*****

"The straw" wasn't your problem. You'd still have the same amount of alcohol in you no matter how you consumed the margaritas. The problem is that you mixed them with JAGER. That's got "bad news" written all over it.

Basically, though, you're just enjoying a hangover. I'd be a TAD worried about the Tylenol, but you should be OK, just don't do that any more. (Pills + alcohol = bad)

Also, another thing that seems to be lost on everyone, DRINK WATER if you're going to be getting drunk. A LOT of water. Like, drink more water than you do alcohol. You get sick because you're dehydrated from the booze. Therefore, hydrating yourself before you go to sleep is a pretty good idea. No hangovers the next day.

Take a multivitamin and B-complex vitamin, and ditto on the gatorade. Other than that, time and sleep are about the only things that are going to do you any good at this point.

Don't freak out though. It happens to a lot of us at one time or another. Last time I drank tequila, I literally thought I was dying, and I'm fine. You're conscious enough to be typing, so you're going to be ok. It won't get any worse. Just get some vitamins, chug as much water as you can stand (at least two glasses) and try to sleep.

Good thing you're not drinking coffee. Caffeine only dehydrates you more and makes everything worse.

Also, try to get your blood sugar back up. Hangovers are usually made worse by a combo of dehydration and low blood sugar. That's why gatorade can help. OJ is usually way too acidic for me and makes me sicker. Think bland, healthy foods - broth, jello, soup, even a popsicle could help.

Okay-don't let these people freak you out about the Tylenol. That warning is for habitual heavy drinkers, not one time of drinking too much (Tylenol and alcohol are both cleared through the liver,so a heavy drinker will not be able to clear the Tylenol as well and could get toxic)-some people are just too stupid to make these distinctions so they end up saying NEVER take Tylenol again! Sheesh.
The Gatorade is a good idea-alcohol dehydrates you and depletes your electrolytes-even better is Pedialyte, most drugstores and Wal-marts have it. Clear soup, jello and pudding are easiest on your stomach.
The only other remedy is tincture of time, and don't drink so much again. Feel better.

Chicken soup, tomato soup, and kind of light soup with no veggies.
Do not ever drink through a straw again it hits the stomach fast I
guess you found out the tough way.Drink water, lots of it!!!.Applesauce is good too your stomach is quite sensitive.
No more tylenol,it wont help anyway. Next time do not mix your drinks. If you drink say wine then drink nothing but wine.Dont ever mix.Hope you feel better soon.

By drinking thr Margaritas and the Rumpleminz, especially seeing that you are not used to drinking, you have alcohol poisening.
It will take a couple of days to pass, and you need to keep yourself hydrated. Drink some 7-Up or Sprite. Some Peppermint Tea might help with the nausea too.

Good luck.

try some ginger ale....drink it slow....a few sips at a time...also if you are nauseous, eat some burnt toast not alot just a few bites, it sounds gross but it certainly will help your stomach calm down...

dont worry about taking the Tylenol....you will be fine....nothing will happen bc you took Tylenol and had alcohol in your system...

also, just try to sleep it off....time is the only thing that cures a hangover completely.....

feel better

Stuff that tasted like licorice was Yagermiester-pretty heavyweight liqueur for social drinkers. Wait it out. It justs too much alcohol for the tummy, you'll get hungry when you stomach sobers up.

I recommend three things - plain bread, tons of water and lots of sleep. That's the only way to make it through a hangover... try not to move around too much either. Just lay there and let the nausea subside.
