,all proof indicates that the hebrews of christs time were darker then the jewish semetic people generally are today , many orginal painting of the madonna and child were balck also the catholic church went to a graet deal of trouble to destroy these , so it isn't really anything new white christians have been in denial about the true heritage of christ since the church was formed , kinda makes one wonder when the church was formed or if Peter was the first pope as why would the church go to so much trouble to remove portatrits showing Chirist as black/ semetic if the pope was also of this line of decendancy maybe taht too is just another false claim made by the Holy Roman Empire to try and enforce their legitimacy

That is interesting! Do you think that may be what is happening?
I think a big part of it, though, is we are in a time when we are rethinking everything.
I don't get all that either. It was like white churches tried to own Jesus, totally. Didn't anybody ever go over there and see what the people look like? There is not hardly a white person over there, among the indigenous people anyway.
It's a hot climate. That creates more pigmentation in the skin.
Which means nothing. We are all the same.

Sorry, but you're being foolish. Obviously you're not Jewish, which Jesus was. The Hebrews were not blacks. The Roman occupiers of Judea documented the physical appearance of the subjugated Hebrews and nowhere in their archives - which still exist and can be read by those with the requisite education - are the Hebrews described as black. The Romans certainly had contact with black people - some of whom were citizens of Rome - and knew the difference.

#1 People don't.
#2 Whoever said Jesus was caucasian?
#3 Your statement "The original Hebrews were Black and if you dont believe that you are racist" is a logical fallacy. If you want to be taken seriously, then try some logic.

What I want to understand is why do we(as believers) contend over such trivial matters when there is a dying world out here that need to know about Jesus and not what color He is or is not. I have never heard the Word of God say what color Jesus was and with good reason I am sure. Probably to keep us from getting hung up on things such as this. When Jesus returns and asks us what did we do to draw others to Him. I would hope that our response will not be that we could have done more had we not been bickering about what color He was. I hope no one misinterprets my words. Just the magnitude of them. May God Bless

I don't know why. Jesus is still Lord regardless of his skin color. Why white people leave the church after this revealation that Jesus is Black, they don't understand that God loves EVERYONE. Racism is not only not of God, its arrogant, destructive, and Satanic.
And that they have to deal with the racism in their life that has been taught by christians who have a racist mindset. . There is one God and 1 Heaven, not 2 Gods and 2 Heavens. All of us are God's children despite race, ethnicity, and economic status.

Not sure about that, but I remember a sitcom with Nell Carter. She was a maid or something and her employer went to her house and they had a black Jesus on the wall. I had never seen a black Jesus before.
Now I'm pretty sure that he was not white, but I don't think he was black either. Somewhere in between.
