WHEN Jesus was on earth, his disciples came to him and asked: "What will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?" He replied that there would be wars involving many nations, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, an increasing of lawlessness, false religious teachers misleading many, a hatred and persecution of his true followers, and a cooling off of the love of righteousness in many people. When these things would start to happen, it would indicate that Christ was invisibly present and that the heavenly Kingdom was at hand. This would be news—good news! So Jesus added these words as a part of the sign: "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."—Matthew 24:3-14.
In themselves, recent world happenings are bad, but what they signify is good, namely, Christ's presence. The conditions mentioned above started to be evident in that widely heralded year 1914! It marked the end of the Gentile Times and the beginning of the transition period from human rule to the Thousand Year (Millennial) Reign of Christ.
"Critical times hard to deal with,"
BUT "then the end will come"
That there was to be a transition period is indicated by the 110th Psalm, verses 1 and 2, and Revelation 12:7-12. There it is shown that Christ would sit at God's right hand in heaven until the time for his becoming King. Then war in heaven would result in Satan's being cast to earth, bringing woe to the earth, and Christ would rule in the midst of his enemies. The complete end of wickedness would come by means of a "great tribulation," culminating in the war at Har-Magedon and followed by Christ's Thousand Year Reign of peace.—Matthew 24:21, 33, 34; Revelation 16:14-16.
"But know this," the Bible says, "that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away."—2 Timothy 3:1-5.
Some may argue that these things have happened before in human history, but the fact is that they have never occurred to the same extent. As the historians and commentators say, there has never been a time on earth like the one experienced from 1914 onward. The woes have been far more extensive than ever before. Moreover, as to other features of Christ's sign of the last days, these facts should be considered: The earth-wide proclamation of Christ's presence and Kingdom has been of a magnitude unprecedented in history. Persecution for preaching has never equaled that visited upon Jehovah's Witnesses. Many hundreds of them were executed in Nazi concentration camps. To this day Jehovah's Witnesses are under ban in some places, and in others they are arrested, imprisoned, tortured, and killed. This is all part of the sign Jesus gave.
As foretold at Revelation 11:18, 'the nations have become wrathful' against Jehovah's faithful Witnesses, and this indicates that Jehovah's "own wrath" will be expressed against those nations. This same scripture says that God will "bring to ruin those ruining the earth." Never before has there been a time in human history when the earth's capacity for sustaining life has been threatened. However, now it is different! Many scientists have warned that if man continues to pollute the earth, it will become uninhabitable. But Jehovah "formed it even to be inhabited," and he will get rid of the polluters before they complete their ruin of the earth.—Isaiah 45:18.
EARTHLY BLESSINGS UNDER THE KINGDOM
The thought of people living on earth as subjects of God's Kingdom may seem strange to many Bible believers who think of all those saved as being in heaven. The Bible shows that only a limited number go to heaven and that those who will live forever on earth will be a great crowd of unlimited number. (Psalm 37:11, 29; Revelation 7:9; 14:1-5) That God's Kingdom under Christ will fill the earth and reign over it is shown by a prophecy in the Bible book of Daniel.
Netherlands
Nigeria
Christ's Kingdom is there represented as a stone cut from Jehovah's mountainlike sovereignty. It strikes and destroys an image that represents powerful nations of the earth, and "the stone that struck the image . . . became a large mountain and filled the whole earth." The prophecy continues: "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite."—Daniel 2:34, 35, 44.
It is this Kingdom and the Scripturally supported hope of everlasting life on a cleansed and beautified earth that Jehovah's Witnesses wish to tell you about. Millions now living and many, many millions now in their graves will have opportunity to dwell therein forever. Then, under the Thousand Year Reign of Christ Jesus, Jehovah's original purpose for creating the earth and putting the first human pair on it will be realized. This earthly Paradise will never become boring. Just as Adam was assigned work in the garden of Eden, so humankind will have challenging projects in caring for the earth and the plant and animal life on it. They "shall long enjoy the work of their hands."—Isaiah 65:22 , Revised Standard Version; Genesis 2:15 .
Many scriptures could be presented to show the conditions that will exist when the prayer that Jesus taught us is answered: "Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth." (Matthew 6:10 ) However, let this one suffice for now: "I heard a loud voice from the throne say: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.' And the One seated on the throne said: 'Look! I am making all things new.' Also, he says: 'Write, because these words are faithful and true.'"—Revelation 21:3-5.

Being honest I consider the main component fear in all these negative responses. Read your history (if you don't believe me) and see that it was politics, fear and money when Christianity was originally formed. It was fear when those in power were deciding what to put in and keep out of the bible. It's been fear every time there has been a religious war. Same with salem witch trials. Any time anything unexplained that isn't G*D related is spoken of. It's the fear that produces the reaction to quote the bible. It's fear, confusion and need to Save the "poor confused soul" and lead it into so called "riotousness" When a friend of mine started into "new age stuff' over (wow) 16 years ago. I was worried for her. I didn't know, what I do now. I was fearful for her mind, her psyche, her body, her soul and the rest of her. It was while Turing to understand what she was getting into and doing Research, that I realized what Wicca, Witta and ultimately what ozitrue was. I was lucky that she found a small group of people who were wicca and really accepting and wonderful teachers to her and I. I over came the fear to rationalize and analyze what she was getting into. I think that if more people could be opened minded, yeah go into it guarded, but with an opened mind and really Research both sides of it. Talk to people on both sides about it before just quoting the bible. Than maybe the world would be a better place. There's not much, I can think of to do about people like that. But try to inform those who wish to learn more and try to ignore those who speak in fear or recite the bible. There will always be intolerance! Especially towards those who do not practice a so called "normal" religion. I do feel that the main Component is fear. Fear of the 'devil'. Fear of loosing your soul. But mainly the fear of the unknown. Note: This may sound anti WWJD It's not my intention to bash your religion. only post my thoughts on this topic.

End times is when Jesus comes back to earth to Judge the world.
It will start with the Rapture of the Church (which can happen anytime now), then the Tribulation period will begin (the events are currently being pulled together for this), the Anti-Christ will appear and be given control of the earth for 7 years. He will appear at first as a peacemaker. Half way through the 7 years (3 1/2 years) he will show his true colors and this is when the 666 mark will happen, he will go as far as claiming himself as God and even doing some miraculous things. He will survive some kind of deadly injury ( I think to the head). At the end of the 2nd 3 1/2 years is when Jesus will make his 2nd coming and fight at the battle of Armageddon and throw Satan and the demons and followers NOT of Christ Jesus, into Hell.
If you want more specific information, please contact me, I would be glad to give you more details.

We are living in the "End of Times" of this wicked system since the year 1914 when Jesus Christ began ruling as king in heaven.
You can read in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Matthew 24:14, and Matthew 28:19, 20 about all the things taken place today.

The time of the end starts with the signs Jesus discusses in Matt 24. Another indication for the start of the time of the end is in Daniel where he talks about the 2300 day prophecy. At the end of that prophecy the pre-advent judgement starts in heaven. If you calculate the year the prophecy ended you find that it was 1844. So the precise time the 'end time' started was in the fall of 1844.

After WWII, many people called the era we lived in the "Eleventh Hour", for Armistice was declared in the eleventh month, the eleventh day and the eleventh hour. Now in biblical references, the day Israel made of itself a country, many people took that as an indication of the end times, since Israelis were without a country since Roman times. That is why there is such a bad conflict there right now with people's land claims. And for anyone who studies Revelation, it is there as part of the prophecy.
Also, Christ, on the Way of the Cross refered to the Church as a tree, and very few trees can survive more than 2000 years.
The Tree is old
The soil is dry
The rain is needed.
The fire comes
The wind is rising...
We look at the signs in nature to tell us what kind of year we will have in order to grow good crops. In the same way, by learning your history, you will know that there are certain signs that will tell you that we as a species, are living on borrowed time. It's a no brainer. The only reason we're all still alive right now, and not floating out in the middle of space like so much flotsam, is by the grace of God alone. The signs are very dire.
Every so often in human history, something comes along: war, (entire nations wiped out), disease (like the Black Plague, which wiped out 30 million Europeans, not to mention anyone else at the time), famine. Even in psychological experiments with rats, the overcrowding conditions of their living space causes them to turn upon one another. It is the same with humans. We need space. We start stepping upon one another's toes. No one seems special or extraordinary. There is a general feeling of anxiety....That feeling is here, that feeling is now, and you see it in the uncertainty of people's beliefs, in the uncertainties of family life, in the social unrest, in the relations between countries. It is blatant. If a giant gong were to resound across the earth and sea and sky, it would not be enough to let you know that we are in deep kaka.
Love one another. As desperately as possible, and do not hold a grudge, upon your soul! If you have ever wronged someone, set it straight now, for time is very short.

Since we are in "time" and always are controlled by "time", it is difficult for us to conceive of anything else.
However, the Start of Time was when God created the Universe; and after the 1,000 Year Reign of Christ and after the Great White Throne Judgement then time shall be no more. That shall be the "End of Time".
But that does not mean an end of existence. There will still be Eternity.

A fairy tale revenge fantasy of death and destruction for everyone the "beleivers" don't like. Not going to happen in this lifetime or any other unless humanity survives long enough to see the sun turn red. One has to wonder of the mentality of people who look forward to the day when everyone in the world dies horrible and painful deaths just so they can get their free ticket into Club Med.

According to the Vedic knowledge which came with the whole creation. The whole creation goes back into the Gigantic body of the Lord Vishnu in 427,000 years. That doesn't mean we will not have massive wars on this planet in the meantime. The main thing we should be concerned with is the time of death. We don't have to wait to go to Christ or the spiritual world until rapture. We can go at our death if we are completely surrendered to him at the moment of death. for universal truths write me for the website.

End of Times is when the Earth, for one reason or another, becomes basically uninhabitable, possibly due to war or the environement or a combination of things.
There will be rivers and lakes of fire. The place will not be very nice. I guess you could call it Hell.
It is said God will take those who qualify (are in the Book of Life) away from this place to a better place, which I guess you could call Heaven.
Those whose names aren't in the book, well they go back to the Earth from which they came...
