Someone asked this question, to which I responded that I find all of christianity an affront to jesus. By this I meant that modern christianity is a perversion of his message. It represents an established instituition that is largely corrupt and the atithesis of what he taught. Why would this response have been deleted. I can only assume that it was the result of some narrow minded, right wing christian who is blinded to christ's true message

the message of Jesus still rings loud and clear today in every True christian church. Jesus left a guide which is the HOLY SPIRIT so that we would know and remember his teachings.

i think there is an epidemic of cultural Christianity today. the "let's go to church because it is the thing to do" attitude. Seeking God's face can be so hard in a society in which even the Christians fail to be followers of Christ. There are times that we can be so blind not to see the hurting people that need to be reached." If judgment looms under every steeple...with lofty glances from lofty people that can't see past her scarlet letter, and they've never even met her...." I am nowhere near perfect, but I do think the church is in need of revival.
