Get a cream with hydroquinone or kojic acid -it will lighten them. Laser can get rid of them altogether.

Any of the various skin bleaches will work, Porcelana, etc. But additionally you should use a heavy sun screen to help prevent additional spotting. Nivea sells a body whitening cream that is fairly effective. Some people claim lemon juice and peroxid will do it, but the problem in the deposition of melanin in the area, not just superficially. Use a skin bleach or consult a dermatologist.

There are several skin care creams that claim to fade darkened areas. They are not inexpensive, and I never thought they did a very good job. You have to use them daily--I just learned to live with the spots.
