I ate spoiled meat!!! Will I get sick?

Yesterday I ate some meat that was spoiled. I did not know it was because it tasted alright to me. It did have a funny smell though. My mother said it was spoiled and threw it out today. Should I be sick by now? Will I even get sick??

Depends on how the meat was fixed. Was it cooked and very hot when you ate it? How much did you eat? How spoiled was it?
Food poisoning doesn't take very long to show up, generally a few hours or less. The symptoms are severe headache, vomiting, aching joints, nausea, cramping, diarrhea, and sometimes fever. If you ate the meat 24 hours ago and you haven't had those symptoms, you don't have food poisoning.

Remember, food takes only 4 hours or so to work through your system.

food illness will strike you within 6 to 7 hrs after eating it. normally you'll feel gas by the 5th hour. puking does start by 7th hour.

if you are past this time frame, your stomach and system handled it.
