and worked out..would my metaboloism slow down?

NO.

Working out will speed up your metabolism. It would cause your body to first burn up the ready reserve of stored sugars and then it would begin to burn up stored body fat. After the workout the metabolism would stay high for at least 30 minutes and sometimes as long as one hour. You body would then begin to add tone to the muscles you worked out. That would help to make a slim, trim, healthy looking YOU!!...

But then without some carbs you will not be able to do much exercise because carbs gives u some energy to start with.
