why is that so .. i mean i'm not into these concept.. i just wear eyeliner coz it simply looks better on me ..
i get the emo n goth comment all the time and it annoyes me to no end.. :(

thats stupid. Indian women are AWESOME w/ eyeliner, and have black hair!

I don't think it's the black eyeliner it's how it's applied. I know a lot of folks who wear black eyeliner and they are definitely not emo or goth. Like I said it's how it's applied.

Because most people, particularly school kids, just can't seem to stop themselves from judging and stereotyping every single person they see. It just so happens that the whole emo fad is going on while you are young and want to wear black eyeliner so that's what category they'll put you in. Just forget about it, wear whatever make up you want and screw everybody else! At least you're doing it because YOU want to, not because everybody else is doing it : )

Personally, I don't associate black eyeliner with being emo or goth. It is just a stupid stereo type.

For lack of better words, I don't always associated it with being goth but rather the look of being a whore. No offense. I don't see the "black eye look" as a casual makeup so that is why my opinion is the way it is.

because emo and goth kids typically wear black eyeliner... although i wouldnt call anyone a goth or emo just because they aer wearing black eyeliner, unless its a guy.

have you ever seen a goth person. It looks like they wrapped themselves in the nights sky(no offense to all you goths out there) lots of people can just be very judgemental. Try lightning up your colors.

i never get called emo or goth and i wear black eyeliner and mascara allllll the time you probably wear black clothes and hang out with gothic ppl or emo ppl i get called a prep cuz i ear AE and Hollister but am i a prep........ Nope it pisses me off oh well ppl will be ppl!! =]

I think black eyeliner is fine. All depends on how much you use and what the rest of your makeup looks like.
