Go walking downtown to look at the Christmas displays / decorations in the windows. Then go for a carriage ride. Then go to a coffee shop for hot chocolate.
The time spend could be as much or as little has you want depending how the date is going. If it's not going well then skip the carriage ride and go have the hot chocolate so you can warm up you toes, then go home.
No matter what you decide to do have fun but be safe.

Go to Starbucks for coffee
