you could use it in tea or make hot cocoa.

hot cocoa

INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup white sugar
1 pinch salt
1/3 cup boiling water
3 1/2 cups milk
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
DIRECTIONS
Combine the cocoa, sugar and pinch of salt in a saucepan. Blend in the boiling water. Bring this mixture to an easy boil while you stir. Simmer and stir for about 2 minutes. Watch that it doesn't scorch. Stir in 3 1/2 cups of milk and heat until very hot, but do not boil! Remove from heat and add vanilla. Divide between 4 mugs. Add the cream to the mugs of cocoa to cool it to drinking temperature.

Cut up some strawberries, peaches, bananas or really any fruit and mix it with half and half for fruit and cream! It's really good.

Or you could go to your local Barnes and Noble and purchase some Godiva Hot Chocolate and you can make it Starbucks style, mix half Half & Half with half Whole milk and about five heaping spoonfulls of the chocolate powder, then you have Starbucks style Godiva Hot Chocolate!

Make a sauce!

Mascarpone Sauce (I made it tonight for Salmon and Bok Choy):

Cook 2 tablespoons of chopped shallots with 1/2 cup of white wine until almost dry.

Add 1/4 cup of half and half. Cook until almost dry.

Add 1/4 cup of mascarpone cheese, 2 tablespoons of chives and cook until thick.

My house still smells good!

Use it in anything you heat or cook or bake that calls for milk. It will be just a bit richer. It makes great, smooooth macaroni.

Or pour it over fruit YUM YUM.

ONE MORE:

Buy some Little Debbie chocolate fudge cakes and dunk them in the half and half.....gooooood....
