Your heart pumps your blood and it therefore fuels your body. A broken heart is the feeling of emptiness believe me I know what you are feeling you just feel pain. And people die from broken hearts. Your heart is your central force for all organs without blood there is no brain to process those emotions.

You know, I'm not really sure why our hearts sometimes hurt when a loved one has hurt us. But I do know that my heart really does hurt when that happens. I guess thats just why they call it broken hearted. I'm almost positive it has to do with the emotional connections we make with people - the bonds. I've experienced this pain. And it only makes a figurative broken heart worse.

Every emotion that we have has some sort of effect on our bodies. When we're excited, adrenalin pumps... so on and so on. The initial impact of being hurt like that causes a lot of stress, and stress does a lot of things to the body and mind that make it hurt, even physically sometimes.
I've experienced heartbreak once before, and its the worst pain I've ever felt. The pain becomes less and less frequent over time as you manage to think of it less and less and move on. My friends kept telling me this when it happened to me, and I refused to believe them because I was being stubborn and depressed at the time.
The good thing is, that once you've experienced this pain, the next time you are happier, you'll realize what it is to be really happy. It takes pain like heartbreak to know happiness when you have it.
So overall, its going to suck now, but you'll heal in time

WHEN WE ARE HURT, THE BRAIN SEND WAVES AND MESSAGES TO ALL OUR BODY PARTS BUT BASICALLY THE HEART IS THE ONE THAT CARRY'S EVERYTHING THAT WE FEEL AND IT HAS TO WORK HARD EVEN DOUBLE TO COPE UP WITH THE STRESS THAT WE ARE IN.THAT'S WHY WE FEEL CHEST PAIN OR TIGHTNESS ON OUR CHEST.

Yes, I have experienced it. It is real. It is called "broken heart syndrome" or "acute stress cardiomyopathy".
